We can challenge ourselves to MOVE through life changes differently

Moving as a single mom is big. Intially the thought of it was so overwhelming. I knew the change in this move needed to come from within. I had a choice to make. Move from overwhelm, depletion, or choose to welcome in a fresh start. So I decided to enjoy the process, this wasn’t my first rodeo, as I’ve moved so many times. I really wanted to be in this experience so much differently this time, so I set my intention and embodied it. This was to be a clearing and a new beginning with ease and gentleness. So I did my best to enjoy the organizing, methodical packing, and for the first time, I reached out and welcomed all the help. And the universe met me, as it always does.
The day before the movers, I felt stress moving in, and my friends showed up with muscle, help, and hugs, turning it into an afternoon of encouragement and fun. We took care of most of the loose belongings and moved what we could. When I discovered my new place was left extremely dirty, another friend reached out that her daughter could help clean. The best part was that while we cleaned together I got to know her and love her, now we are friends! The next day the movers were so efficient and kind. Before they left, they hugged me and wished me the best in my new home. Lastly, a new friend brought me dinner for a few days and I was nourished.
I am almost done unpacking. It’s been a big week. I’m so grateful and welcoming freshness. I wanted to share my story because I am learning to let go, enjoy the moment, honor my needs, receive help, trust, and most importantly that we always have a choice on the lense we view the world through and how we move through change and challenges.
Is there something you’re facing right now that could use a perception shift?
The Universe has your back.
